Envolep Project

The project that were starting is called envelop project, within this project we were given a envelop. That had a name of photographer were going to work with to create a magazine based on a theme and target audience from the design ideas that I created.

Within this week it was also my first meeting with my photographer who is called wezz. In today’s meeting we introduced our self’s to each other and gave each other our contact details such as phone numbers and emails. Then to give him a hint of what my style is like I showed him a portfolio of my work that I’ve produced in the last project. After that we decided that the target audience for this magazine are students studying drama or photography; we also decided that professional photographers and theater/ film producers will also be interested in buying that magazine. then we roughly plan out what the magazine will be like, in a style that would appeal to my target audience. for this task we looked into different types of magazines, the magazine that we thought suits best was Dazed because it was really artistic and produced in a unique style.  

Once we found out what type of magazine we were making we started to look into other areas such as the colure palette, theme, layout, makeup, hair, location and what each page would include. In order to get an image of our ideas we created a mood board of images that would inspire the shoot of our front cover.

After our first meeting I made some contact with him through messaging and and email because I needed the image of the mood board we created together.
